Thank you for visiting Tribal Records. We encourage you to listen to our
samples (from top, under °recordings, click on the album cover icons and you
will find blue hyperlinks).
Tribal Records looks for "good music," regardless of whether the music is
commercially successful or independently distributed. The goodness of music
that is easily lost in the name of "commercialism" is important to us; we try
to find universality in this "goodness," believing that goodness by itself
seeks connection with others.
Our goal is to share innocent sounds that do not divide a person away from
music, to share the innocence expressed in down-to-earth conversation¡ªso and
so who lives in such and such a place makes such wonderful music! We believe in
music as sounds before a tune, voices before a song. The utmost quality we
value in music is the scenery created by those soundscapes.
Tribal Records seeks people who can receive the scenery carried by our
sounds. We are looking for relationships with people that share emotions from
this scenery. If you also share these ideas and feelings, or share what we
value in music, we hope that we can together shape new ways of musical
communication.
Thank you very much.
